Who to contact
Dosano Logistics Kenya coordinates produce sourcing, shipment facilitation and trade risk consultancy from Ngong Road, Nairobi, Kenya. For questions about personal information or to exercise your privacy rights, email info@dosanologistics.com or call +254 748 980 723.
Using the enquiry form
The form prepares a draft in your own email application. It does not send a message automatically or submit the entered fields to a website database. You choose whether to send the draft. If an email application is unavailable, contact us directly by email or telephone. Avoid including identity documents, payment details or other sensitive information in an initial enquiry.
When you email or call us, we receive the information you provide, which may include your name, business contact details, company and sourcing or shipment requirements. Your email provider also processes your draft and sent message under its own terms.
Why we use information
We use enquiry information to respond, assess requested services, prepare commercial discussions and coordinate agreed work. Depending on the context, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before a contract, perform a contract, meet legal obligations, or pursue legitimate business interests in responding to enquiries and protecting our services. Where consent is required, we will request it. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Website hosting, images and cookies
IONOS hosts this website. Serving and protecting a website can involve technical access logs containing information such as an IP address, request time, requested page and browser information. The published website does not include analytics, advertising trackers or its own cookie-based tracking scripts. This does not describe cookies used within third-party websites you choose to visit.
Some photographs load from images.unsplash.com. Your browser connects to that service to request the image, disclosing technical connection information such as your IP address. Our website uses a no-referrer policy to avoid sending the page address with those requests. The image provider's own privacy practices apply to its processing.
Links from social profiles or shared guides may include campaign parameters identifying the source platform, medium and campaign. Where supported, these values are kept in your browser's session storage so they remain available as you move to the enquiry form. They are added to the email draft for you to review and are received by Dosano only if you send that draft. This feature does not send an analytics event or identify you to a social platform. Social profile and share buttons are ordinary links; opening them takes you to the chosen third-party service and its privacy terms apply.
Service providers and international processing
Hosting and email providers may process information needed to deliver their services. For a requested or agreed shipment, relevant information may also need to be shared with appointed suppliers, carriers, clearing agents or public authorities. Only information relevant to that purpose should be shared. International trade and service providers may involve processing outside Kenya; applicable data-protection safeguards must be assessed for the particular arrangement. Contact us before sharing information if you need details about a proposed recipient or transfer.
Retention and security
Enquiry and commercial records are kept for the relevant business purpose and applicable legal record-keeping needs. The appropriate retention period depends on whether an enquiry becomes a transaction and the records involved; contact us for information about a particular record. We use HTTPS to protect website traffic. Your email provider and the destination mailbox determine protection of sent emails. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about how your personal data is used, access, correction or deletion, and object to processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate verification before acting on a request. Contact us using the details above and describe the request without sending unnecessary identity documents.
You can also raise a concern with Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. This notice explains the current website and enquiry process; any material changes will be reflected here.
